PURPOSE:To detect the internal abnormality of a gas-insulated electric apparatus without reducing the life and detection capability of a sensor by providing an outside air introducing means in a sensor storage box. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid valve 11b is turned on only at the time t1, the atmospheric air is introduced through an outside air introducing pipe 12, and the atmosphere containing moisture not reducing the life and detection capability of an electrolyte sensor 3 is filled in a sensor storage box 4. A solenoid valve 11a is turned on only at the time t2, and SF6 gas 1 is introduced into the sensor storage box 4 from a tank 2 through a gas introducing pipe 5. If the internal abnormality of an apparatus main body occurs, SF6 gas 1 and decomposition generation gas are introduced into the storage box 4, the decomposition generation gas is hydrolyzed into ions in the electrolyte sensor 3, and the generated electrolytic current is detected by the sensor 3. The signal detected by the sensor 3 is outputted to a level comparator 13 via an output signal transmission line 8. A detection signal 10 indicating a warning is outputted to the outside for the output signal at the preset level or above. |
