The strutted element is designed as a load-bearing element in buildings and structures. It effectively withstands the wind load thus making easier the assembly on the spot of the element itself. It consists of a plate of a lengthwise profiled sheet metal (1), barred with marginal transverse beams (2). V-shaped backstays (3) are connected to its ends and their vertexes are united by a bottom flange (4) and joined also there to stilts (5) resting on the plate of the lengthwise profiled sheet metal (1). The place they rest is where inclined tie-rods (6) are connected having their end fastened with additional support elements (7). When heavy loads are available, the stilts (5) rest on the plate of lengthwise profiled sheet metal (1) by means of at least two transverse rest bars (8).<IMAGE>
