CABLE MISCONNECTION PREVENTIVE CONNECTION SYSTEM AND ITS MISCONNECTION PREVENTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent a misconnection by arraying cable cores which have jackets in plural colors in array grooves of a separator part, unit by unit, and connecting them by a core connecting connector while discriminating whether or not there is a misconnection by a discriminating means which uses the irradiation light of projection optical fibers by comparing the colors with previously specified colors. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted by a light source 10 is passed through a rotation part 11 and a fiber fixation part 12 and sent to the projection optical fibers 6 in order to irradiate the cable cores 1 arrayed in the array grooves 4; and light reflected by the cores 1 to be measured is guided to a discrimination device 14 through photodetection optical fibers 7 and read by a color sensor 15 while decomposed by red, green, and blue, and the read values are passed through a color amplifier 16 and an interface 17 and digitized by an A/D converter 18. Then the colors quantized by the arithmetic processing of an arithmetic part 19 are stored in a data storage part 19. The respective cores 1 are arrayed in the array grooves 4 of the separator part 8 and connected by the core connecting connector 24 provided successively to the array grooves 4 while decided by being compared with the specified colors to confirm the consistency with the specified colors.
