PURPOSE:To prevent the opening of a shutter while it is used by heat-processing a pair of corner parts in the shutter for disk cassette, which is formed in a U-shape by means of synthetic resins. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin sheet is bend in the U-shape while it is heated and the worked shutter 9 is vertically inserted downward into a V-shaped groove 23a in a jig 23. A pair of the corner parts 9a are heated to 75-115 deg.C in a state where they are lightly pressed by a pair of heating surfaces 24a whose opening angle theta of the heating jig 24 is 90-60 deg.. Thus, the sheet is softened again by heat-processing a pair of the corner parts 9a in the shutter 9 again. Then, work distortion such as bending distortion and shaping distortion can be reformed and a bending peculiarity is given to one shutter board 8. Even if a disk cassette is used under a high temperature, the opening of the shutter can be reduced and inconvenience that the disk cassette cannot be taken out from a recording and reproducing device and the shutter drops can be prevented.
