a) Protective helmet with a transmitter/receiver, which helmet is formed of an outer crown part and of a skullcap part, the crown part being made up of two parts, an outer shell forming the overall shape of the helmet and an inner shell fixed to the outer part and carrying at least some of the transmitting/receiving accessories such as the transmitter/receiver and the antenna, the earphones, the batteries (accumulators) and the control members. b) The helmet is characterised in that the outer shell (1) has, on the inside and towards the top, a peripheral rim (12) defining a groove and the lower edge of the shell includes fixing means, the inner shell (2) being in the shape of a substantially frustoconical peripheral band, with an upper edge (12) and a lower edge, the upper edge being designed to be housed in the upper groove with the insertion of a seal and the lower edge including apertures corresponding to the attachment means with the insertion of a sealing means. <IMAGE>
