The method is used for cancer patients after ended accomplished of the left half of the colon. It assures the preliminary preparation of the colostomy, whose final formation is carried out only in case of complications. The method consists of the following: under the middle part of the transverse colon two stitches are made, as this part of the colon with a length of 4-6 cm is fixed to the parietal peritoneum. Then the laparotomy is closed in the areas outside of the fixation part, above which the under skin and skin is stitched up, and the two stitches are removed through the wound outside the abdominal wall.
