摘要 PURPOSE:To find an execution path of a present processor quickly and to carry out highly efficient evaluation by providing the processor with the function that in addition to stopping the processor operation when address coincidence condition is satisfied, the processor is stopped when the address enters in a set range and a microinstruction coincides with a set pattern. CONSTITUTION:The third and fourth registers 300 and 310 hold the upper limit address and the lower limit address where a microprocessor 100 stops and can be accessed from a diagnostic processor. The fifth register 320 holds a microinstruction stored in an address where it is desired to stop the microprocessor 100 and can be accessed from the diagnostic processor. Further, the sixth register 330 holds operation modes of stop circuits 460-480 and can be accessed from the diagnostic processor 330. Furthermore, the first circuits 460 and 480 issue a stop request, if the value of the 6th register 330 satisfies the conditions set in the first and 4th registers 200 and 310, to the microprocessor 100. With this, the execution path of the processor can be found quickly and highly efficient evaluation can be obtained.
