<p>PURPOSE:To accurately output a synchronizing state monitor pulse and to improve the reliability by discriminating whether or not a stuff request exists based on a pointer in a received data, detecting whether or not the content of the pointer is the same consecutively for N frames and using its OR as a synchronizing state monitor pulse. CONSTITUTION:A counter means 30 to generate a reference pointer changes the content of the pointer when a same value monitor means 20 detects it that a same value is inputted consecutively for N frames and a stuff discrimination means 10 discriminates it that the stuff control is required based on the content of the pointer. Then an output of the same value monitor means 20 and an output of the stuff discrimination means 10 changing the content of the counter means 30 to generate the reference pointer are ORed by an OR means 40 and the result is used as a synchronizing state monitor pulse. Thus, the synchronizing state monitor pulse is accurately generated and the reliability is enhanced.</p> |
