<p>PURPOSE:To unnecessitate the operation for capitalization and to reduce the burden of an operator by automatically printing a capital letter when the capitalization of alphabetic letters is needed during the printing of a sentence. CONSTITUTION:In a keyboard 10, there is a mode designation key 40 designating an automatic capital letter (AC) automatically turning an alphabetic letter to be printed to a capital letter in the prescribed case. When a just before printed character has no period, question mark, exclamation mark, or anything else (except for space) at the time of inputting the alphabetic letter in the AC mode, the inputted alphabetic character is automatically printed by the capital letter. Thus, since the capitalization of the alphabetic letter can be automatically performed, the burden to the operator can be reduced, and the key input operation can be efficiently performed.</p> |
