PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance of the water electrolytic cell unit by inserting and extracting the electrodes as an assembly of the outer and inner electrodes into and from an electrolytic cell casing. CONSTITUTION:The inner and outer electrode members 3c and 2c are opposed in an electrolytic cell casing 1 having a water supply part 5 and a couple of water discharge parts 6a and 6b with a diaphragm 13 in between to constitute the water electrolytic cell unit. The outer electrode member 2c and the inner electrode member 3c are assembled, the assembly is inserted and extracted into and from the casing by sliding contact of the upper and lower supporting members 2a and 2b of the outer electrode unit 2 with the inner wall of the casing 1, and the upper part of the assembly is detained by the casing with a fixing member 4. The maintenance of the electrolytic cell unit is facilitated in this way. |
