PURPOSE:To improve the resistance to heat and fatigue by vulcanizing a compsn. comprising a specific rubber component, carbon black, and an aliph. carboxylic acid using sulfur, a sulfur-contg. vulcanizing agent, and an accelerator. CONSTITUTION:10-80 pts.wt. polybutadiene or styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber having a styrene content of 0-30wt.% a butadiene content of 100--70wt.%, and a content of vinyl bonds in the butadiene parts 25-60%, 20-90 pts.wt. natural rubber or synthetic plyisoprene rubber, and 0-20 pts.wt. conjugated diene rubberlike polymer other than the above two rubbers are compounded to give a rubber component. 100 pts.wt. the rubber component, 20-100 pts.wt. carbon black, and 0.2-5 pts.wt. aliph. carboxylic acid are compounded to give a compsn., which is compounded with 0.2-1 pt.wt. sulfur, 1-5 pts.wt. sulfur-contg. vulcanizing agent, and 0-3 pts.wt. accelerator, and vulcanized. |
