PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity, the wiring, the driving circuit, etc., for display elements to miniaturize a device by using the common display element for interval recording and interval reproducing. CONSTITUTION:The interval recording mode in which pictures are recorded on a recording medium 24 at intervals of a prescribed period and the interval reproducing mode in which pictures recorded on the recording medium 24 are reproduced at intervals of a prescribed period are provided. A liquid crystal display device 36 on which the system state and various data are displayed is provided, and either of the interval recording mode and the interval reproducing mode is displayed by the common display element. Thus, the number of display elements is reduced, and the display area is reduced, and a display circuit system is miniaturized, and the device is miniaturized. |
