<p>The description relates to a process for cleaning the seats of double-seats valves with two mutually independent closing members which, in addition to the fully open position, can be taken into a partly open position, and a control device for implementing the process, whereby the economy is increased, the cleaning action improved and the devices for partial lift production simplified. To this end, in the process, the partial open position is attained by opening and closing movements of the closing member (2, 3) which periodically follow each other, whereby the changeover from the opening to the closing movement and vice versa is dependent upon time or stroke or result. To this end the control device provides for a time device by means of which control signals are generated, the frequency of which is adjustable, or the closing member actuating rods (5, 6) have a position transmitter (5a or 6a) to which is allocated a position detector (7 or 7*) moveable in the direction of the stroke, or there is a signal generator (7**) for leak detection, and that these control means (8, 8a; 8*, 8*a) to handle driving power for the single adjuster (11) allocated to the closing device actuating rod (5 or 6) or directly control the manipulation.</p> |
