The versatile skip has a base unit (1) with less than normal height walls and with a frame fitted over the top to form a large container. The frame locates on the bottom section using interlocking profiles (8,9), and the two sections are secured by side fittings (4). Each section is small enough to be zinc-plated for anti-corrosion protection. The top section can be one of a variety of units with covers, loading flaps etc.
