Working fluid circuit for vehicular active wheel suspension - converts energy of vibration in dampers into augmentation of pressure of hydraulic fluid supplied from pump
摘要
The hydraulic pump (12) supplies fluid from a tank (14) via a multiple valve arrangement (16) to front and rear wheel pressure-regulating valves (40). These feed hydraulic cylinders (20) associated with pressure reservoirs (72) and constrictions (70). The valves (40) are interconnected in pairs with non-return valves (66) in bypass lines (64), and operated by a controller (76) including a microprocessor of signals from sensors of transverse acceleration (74) and vertical displacement (75). The non-return valves (66) open when cylinder pressure exceeds the pump pressure. USE/ADVANTAGE - The suspension on a vehicle can operate effectively with less energy consumption, by conversion of vibration energy into fluid energy.
