<p>In the field of organic, particularly therapeutical chemistry, compounds are provided which are p. aminophenylsulfonamido pyrimidines having formula (I), wherein A is hydrogen or an alkyl radical having 1-18 carbon atoms; B is hydrogen, the acyl rest of a carboxylic organic acid having 1-6 carbon atoms, or an alkyl radical having 1-18 carbon atoms; or A and B together form an alkylene or arylidene rest with the adjacent carbon atom, having form (a); or A and B are the alkyl or arakyl rests of a quaternary ammonium salt having form (b) wherein A' is an alkyle or aralkyl radical, and X is the anion of a monovalent, organic or mineral acid; and the addition salts thereof. These compounds may be used in therapy, particularly as active principles in antibacterial drugs.</p> |
