<p>Video signal processing apparatus comprises means (15, 24-35) for generating data signals representing the physical status of a video camera with respect to a fixed frame of reference, the physical status being the position, orientation, height, attitude or speed, means (13) for receiving video signals from the said camera (11) and means (13) for combining the said data signals with the said video signals whereby to produce a composite signal by which the data information and the video information contained in the video signals can be displayed simultaneously, and means (20) for transmitting the combined signal to a remote location or means (21) for recording the composite signal.</p> |
