<p>A modulator is provided which uses the stationary-phase angle modulation method. A carrier signal (p) generating circuit (1) is connected to a control circuit (4) in a sequence of several states provided for generating the modulated signal (s(t)). According to the spot value of the modulating signal (e) at the input (11) of the modulator, said value being detected by a circuit (3) at each peak phase (M1, M2) of the carrier signal, the control circuit (4) programmes the generator (1) to output a continuous modulated signal (s(t)) having an average value of almost zero. The modulator can be used for signal processing and transmissions, particularly of digital data.</p> |
