<p>The invention relates to a gravity infusion system which has a main bottle (11) and a reserve bottle (10) whose outlets meet in the application tube. An intercalary tube (13) connects one to the other directly by means of two hollow punches (131, 133) which pierce the rubber plugs. When the level in the main bottle goes down and approaches the empty level, the punch (131) of the intercalary connection is left exposed and the air in the bottle (11) passes through said connection to the reserve bottle (10) which, upon receiving such air, begins to supply liquid, thereby replacing the empty bottle. Such repeated process finds particular application in prolonged treatments. The object of the invention is to avoid troubles resulting from a delay in the replacement of the bottle and, consequently, to avoid having medical staff and other persons accompanying the patient dependent on the moment of the bottle replacement.</p> |
