<p>Retaining wall (1) comprising a vertical wall (2), a base (3) capable of resting on the ground and means for said wall (2) to co-operate with said base. The wall is unusual in that said co-operation means consist of a trunnion (5) formed by a male part (6) and a female part (7) belonging to one and the other of the two elements forming the vertical wall and the base, so that said two elements are able to pivot in relation to one another about at least one point (8), and means for preventing the rotation in one direction of one of the two elements in relation the other. Application in earth or embankment-retaining constructions, especially in road works.</p> |
