In an appts. and process for filling and topping up water systems, esp. in temp. control units and circuits, the novelty is that the liq. source is an appts. which can be disconnected from the circuit and which is pressurised by compressed air, the appts. being automatically depressurised before emptying and having a number of outlets for connection to any number of temp. control units. The appts. is pref. stationary or mobile for use at various sites. The water system may be the hot circuit of heating and solar units or other closed circulation system. USE/ADVANTAGE - The appts. is useful in temp. control systems for heating and cooling, e.g. plastic moulding tools. It provides a constant sufficient supply of fresh circulation liq. for filling or topping up to ensure reliable operation of the temp. control unit. (1/1)
