<p>Halogenated alkoxyphthalocyanine useful as dye, opto-electric functional material, and recording and storing material, particularly writable recording medium such as writable compact disc, CD-WO; a process for producing halogenated alkoxyphthalocyanine represented by general formula (8) as a mixture of several isomers thereof in a good yield by reacting alkoxyphthalocyanine represented by general formula (7) and its mixture with a halogenating agent in a mixture of water with an organic solvent; and a mixture of the compounds represented by formula (8) and an optical recording medium produced therefrom.</p> |
