It has a filter mesh closed on all sides, and a flexible frame with a pipe connection for a pump. The frame consists of a rust-protected spring-steel plate and includes plastic support for the gauze. Several variants are claimed. USE/ADVANTAGE - The filter is suitable for the tanks of motor vehicles, where movement of the fuel has mechanically damaged other filters. It has greater strength and durability, combined with economical production.
