PURPOSE:To drive a link device without the excessive load acting on the link device and guide rails by providing the pushing driving device which drives the endless link device by pushing force in the heat treatment section after an intermediate driving device and a MD shrinking device. CONSTITUTION:An unoriented flat film 1 is gripped at its both ends by the gripping device 3 provided in the endless link device 2 driven by sprockets 7-9, an intermediate driving device 10 and a pushing driving device 12, and the film is oriented. The link device 2 in a section A is driven by the sprocket 8 and the intermediate driving device 10, end is MD-shrunk by a MD-shrinking device 11 in the range of section B, and then is driven by the pushing driving device 12 and the sprocket 9 in the range of section C. In the section C, even when the link device is driven in the state where it is MD-shrunk by guide rails 4-6 with the controlled movement, it may be driven without the excessive load acted on the link device 2 and the guide rails 4, 6. Further, the timing- regulation with the MD-shrinking device 11 and the link device 2 becomes the regulation in the short section of the section B, whereby the operational properties are remarkably improved. |
