PURPOSE:To obtain excellent external finish by a method wherein uniform and favorable colored state is realized on the surface of a formed article by providing fiber reinforcd colored resin layer adjacent to the surface resin layer. CONSTITUTION:The fiber reinforced resin forming sheet 20 concerned is produced by laminating surface resin layer 26, which is predeterminedly colored so as to constitute the surface of an aimed formed article, fiber reinforced colored resin layer 24, which is made of reinforcing fibers 23 such as glass fiber or the like impregnated with thermosetting resin such as unsaturated polyester resin or the like colored with color having the same hue as that of the surface resin layer 26 and fiber reinforced transparent resin layer 22, which is made of the reinforcing fiber 23 impregnated with transparent thermosetting resin added with ultraviolet-curing agent in the order named. On both sides of the fiber reinforced resin forming sheet 20, covering films 30 and 34 made of vinylon film or the like are pasted. Under the condiction that the fiber reinforced resin forming sheet 20, onto which the covering films 30 and 34 are pasted, is arranged on a forming mold 10, the suction under vacuum is performed through the vacuum hole 14 of the forming mold 10, resulting in pulling the forming sheet 20 and the covering films 30 and 34 is the mold so as to shape them along a mold surface 12. |
