Roller and tube joint - has centering seats to give trouble-free screwing action to join sections together

To join threaded rollers, tubes, and cylindrical components and the like, centering seatings are worked into the threadings. The centering seats are brought together shortly before the end faces of each section are laid against each other. A simple screwing action to join the parts together is provided by the narrow choice of fit and/or the smallest covering of the centering seating. USE/ADVANTAGE - The system is used for assembling rollers and the like, such as for papermaking machines, in a dia. of 200-600 mm with a length of 12-15 m from three sections. Or the method can be used for joining pipe sections in oil fields. The technique gives joined sections which are in a force and keyed fit, with a trouble-free screwing action to join the sections together.
