Dosing and weighing device for loose material - has weighing cell contained in carrier sleeve extending through transverse sleeve of weighing hopper

The dosing and weighing device is for loose material. It uses a weighing hopper (1) which tapers from the top to the bottom cooperating with at least one weighing cell (13). The hopper (1) has a transverse sleeve (4) which is open at one end in which a carrier sleeve (5) for the weighing cell (13) is supported with play. Pref. the carrier sleeve (5) projects beyond the transveser sleeve (4) at each end and is secured in a socket (6) fitted in the wall of a housing (7) enclosing the hopper (1) at a given relative spacing. USE/ADVANTAGE - Weighing results are unaffected by external conditions, for supplying granular plastics etc to process machine.
