The seal arrangement, especially for a spring leg piston rod (3), has an axially movable rod-section in a guide and enclosed by a sealing-section in a radial groove (10) sloping to the axis (7) of the rod-section (3). The rod section (3) has a peripheral sealing surface with radially opposite, axially displaced sealing surface parts. The groove (10) is formed by two components (9, 9') axially touching the gap (17) separating them. The groove (10) is formed by an axial cavity (11) in one component (9) and sloping to the piston rod's (3) axle (7), and by a similarly sloping protuberance (12) on the other component (9'), the protuberance (12) fits into the cavity (11). ADVANTAGE - The easily made and assembled seal is made of not very elastic material.
