PURPOSE:To easily control a fuel injection amount especially at full-load time by changing a fuel feed pressure by a pressure regulating valve, which returns fuel from a fuel gallery to a fuel tank by changing the valve opening pressure in accordance with an engine speed, and increasing the fuel injection amount in a high speed region of an engine. CONSTITUTION:When a supply fuel pump 11 is driven by a Diesel engine, a rotational speed of the Diesel engine is detected by an engine speed sensor 14, and an output current is determined by collation with a table reference corresponding to a rotational speed signal of the engine speed sensor 14 by a microcomputer 13 to control current conduction to an electromagnetic coil of a step motor 41. In this way, in a pressure adjusting valve 12, its opening pressure is changed, and a return amount of fuel, returned to a fuel tank 53 from a fuel gallery 21 by the pressure adjusting valve 12, is changed corresponding to a rotational speed of the Diesel engine, so that a fuel feed pressure is changed. |
