PURPOSE:To prevent successive knocking by stopping feedback control and making the timing of ignition lag in angle when the successive knocking is caused by trouble and the like in a knocking-avoiding device wherein the timing of ignition is subjected to feedback control through detection of the strength of the knocking. CONSTITUTION:Vibrations are generally deteched by a knocking sensor 1, a detected value is compared with an averaged value by a comparing-discriminating circuit 4 and the timing of ignition is controlled by a lead-angle controlling circuit 5, whereby the strength of knocking is maintained at a fixed level. When the successive knocking is caused by a trouble of the control circuit, an actuator, etc., it is detected by a successive-knocking detecting circuit 8 and a switch 11 is made to operate based on an operation signal A. By this operation, the feedback control is stopped and the timing of ignition is controlled mechanically. A mark B is a reset input. By this constitution, the successive knocking due to troubles and the like can be prevented. |
