<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a lighting device which is miniaturized and whose output is heightened by forming reflecting films on the reflecting surface of a reflector made of resin and the bulb surface of a lamp disposed opposite to the reflector, and providing a translucent cover to an opening for projecting light. CONSTITUTION:Only the infrared component of light emitted from a filament 9 at the lighting of a lamp 4 is reflected by a reflecting film 5 and allowed to return to the filament 9. Visible light and the remaining infrared component which has not been removed are transmitted through the reflecting film 5 and emitted outside of a bulb. Infrared radiation is further removed by a reflecting film 3 from the component of the light directed onto a reflector 1. Most part of infrared radiation is thus eliminated with little infrared radiation included in the light which is not allowed to pass through the reflector 1 but is directed onto a translucent cover 6. Overheating of the reflector 1 and the translucent cover 6 is thereby restrained, achieving the miniaturization and high output of the device.</p> |
