<p>PURPOSE:To control execution of lighting in which the will of a driver is reflected by prohibiting lighting ON of a reversing light when press operation of a select button on a select lever is detected, in a vehicle having an automatic transmission wherein an R range for reversing is set between a P-range and a D-range. CONSTITUTION:A battery 3, an ignition switch 4, and a reverse range detecting switch 5 are located in series to an energizing line 2 of a reversing light 1, and a discriminating circuit 6 to control lighting ON of the reversing light 1 is installed on the line 2. Meanwhile, a select button 8 is located to a select lever 7 for selecting the range of an automatic transmission, and a select button switch 9 turning OFF during press operation of the select button 8 is provided. Further, a brake switch 11 turned OFF during pedaling operation of a brake pedal 10 is provided, and signals therefrom are inputted to the discriminating circuit 6. When an R-range is not selected during operation of the select lever 7, the reversing light 1 is reliably prevented from lighting ON regardless of a passage time of the R-range.</p> |
