PURPOSE:To provide a floor heating material having uniform temperature distribution and high safety by a method wherein one or a plurality of plateform heat pipes to which a PTC thermistor element is coupled are incorporated in an inclined state. CONSTITUTION:A plateform heat pipe 2 with which a PTC thermistor element 1 is joined is incorporated in a panel frame body 3 to form a panel heater 4, and the panel heaters are coupled together to form a floor 10. The heat pipe 2 is arranged on a heat insulating material 11, e.g. foamed resin form, in a state to be inclined at 0.5 deg. or more, preferably 2 deg.. A special heating medium is not arranged in a space 12 formed by the inclination arrangement, and transmission of heat from the heat pipe 2 is effected through convection and radiation of air in the space 12. Thus, even when the thickness of the floor material 10 is limited, since the heat pipe 2 is arranged in an inclined state, the heat pipe 2 can be installed throughout the overall length of the heater 4 within the limit of the thickness, and uniform heating is practicable throughout a whole surface. |
