PURPOSE:To reduce the time redundancy for establishing a link by assigning plural different spread codes respectively to plural transmission reception stations and sensing it whether or not a spread code assigned to its own station is in existence on a transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A communication controller 30 sets a PN code of a transmission opposite station to a receiver 22 by using a code setting section 32 in the idle state through the CPU control in the controller 30 upon the receipt of a data transmission request from a host CPU 40 to check whether or not a PN code of the transmission opposite station is in existence on a transmission line. The PN code of the transmission opposite station is set to a transmitter 21. When it is discriminated that the PN code of the transmission opposite station is in existence on the transmission line, no data transmission is implemented and the controller is in standby for a prescribed time in the idle state. When it is detected that the PN code of the transmission opposite station is not in existence on the transmission line, the controller 30 is set to the data transmission state and a transmission control section 31 applies transmission control to a data from the CPU 40 and gives it to the transmitter 21. |
