PURPOSE:To improve ascent and descent operability of door glass and durability of die molding section by retracting a door glass slide face in the die molding section away from a door glass face, and reducing door glass slide resistance in the die molding section in a vertical section of a glass run which guides ascent and descent of the door glass. CONSTITUTION:An upper vertical member 41 and a lower vertical member 42 which constitutes a vertical section 4B of a glass run 4 are connected in a die molding section 5A. Both of the vertical members 41, 42 are provided with a main body section whose cross section is U-shape which consists of side walls 401, 402 and a bottom wall 403 which connects them, and held by a retainer 21 which is formed in the inner periphery of a door frame 2 with the side wall 401 in the inside of automobile by the main body section. In this case, upper and lower ends of a side wall 502 and a bottom wall 503 in the die molding section 5A are formed in the shape of the same cross section as each terminal corresponding section of the upper vertical member 41 and the lower vertical member 42, and a recessed section is formed in the intermediate section. Namely, the intermediate section of the bottom wall 503 is a retraction face 505 which retracts from an outer peripheral end face of a door glass 3, and the intermediate section of the side wall 502 is also a retraction face 504 in the same way. |
