<p>The invention relates to an optical waveguide wavelength multiplexer using evanescent-wave coupling. It comprises a first monomode optical guide (2a) at the wavelength lambda 1 and a second optical guide (2b) guiding the entrant wave of wavelength lambda 2. These guides have a core and an optical cladding and they converge in an interaction zone. The cores of the first and second guides, being close together, define an interaction length and coupling lengths for each wavelength lambda 1, lambda 2. According to the invention, lambda 1 is greater than lambda 2 and the interaction length is equal to the coupling length for lambda 1. <IMAGE></p> |
