PURPOSE:To obtain a press molded product with a high development factor while reducing the molding cycle by punching slits near the portion intended to form a curved surface on a wood fiber board at the prestage of a press molding. CONSTITUTION:A number of slits 2a, 2a... are formed by press punching molding at portions corresponding to the periphery a1 and bottom surface a2 of a section where a container is formed on a wood fiber board 1 as material plate for a molding (a). Then, the wood fiber board 1 is set on a press molding machine and formed under heat and pressure. In this process, there is no cracking on the opening film periphery a1 and the bottom surface a2 most heavily subjected to a shear stress of the molding (a) thereby assuring a better molding. |
