A scroll machine having an eccentric crank pin (24) on a crankshaft (14) disposed non-rotatably in the bore of a drive bushing (42) for driving the orbiting scroll (30) of the compressor. A flat (58) on the crank pin drivingly engages a flat (56) in the bore, one flat being at an acute angle to the normal crankshaft axis so that when the crankshaft deflects under normal loads the flats come into better contact with one another to reduce unwanted wear. Several other embodiments are also disclosed.
