PURPOSE:To obtain a sound which has natural fluctuations by generating a random signal according to the detection result of the mode of a musical sound signal generated by a musical sound signal generating circuit, and controlling a musical sound signal generated by feeding the random signal back to the musical sound signal generating circuit. CONSTITUTION:A sound source system 12 varies its pitch, sound volume, etc., irregularly with the random signal received from a modulating circuit 22. A filter circuit 15 receives the random signal from the modulating circuit 22 to vary the timbre irregularly. The pitch, sound volume, and timbre of a musical signal supplied to a sound system are therefore controlled irregularly and this irregular variation is controlled by the modulating circuit 22 according to a playing style. Consequently, the musical sound can be approximated to irregular delicate variation of the musical sound of a pipe organ, etc., which is a natural musical instrument. |
