PURPOSE:To set a driver's seat to an optimum position without limited and uncomfortable feeling of a driver by setting a clearance between a steering wheel and a driver's seat to a high value when the driver's seat is moved in the forward direction of a car body for a passenger in a rear seat. CONSTITUTION:A seat position operation switch 57 is connected to a control unit 56, a motor 35 for moving a seat is properly run through operation of the switch 57 by a driver, and the position in a longitudinal direction of the driver's seat 11 is set to an optimum position matching a driver's physical build. The position in a longitudinal direction of the driver's seat 11 is detected by a linear gauge 58, and the position in a longitudinal direction of a steering wheel 13 is controlled according to a signal S1 from the control unit by the control unit 56. Namely, an operation control signal S2 according to which a steering wheels 13 is set by the control unit 56 is outputted to a motor drive circuit 60 to control running of a motor 50 for moving a steering wheel. |
