PURPOSE:To obtain the title material showing excellent hydrophilic nature for a long period of time, permeating water by attaching a copolymer of a fluorine-containing monomer and a hydrophilic group-containing monomer to pores of porous material. CONSTITUTION:In a porous fluororesin material having a great number of pores, a copolymer (preferably one having 2-60wt.% fluorine content and 60-500 hydrophilic group equivalent) of a fluorine-containing monomer [preferably monomer shown by the formula CXY=CFZ (Z is F or H; X and Y are H, F, Cl or trifluoromethyl)] and a hydrophilic group-containing monomer [e.g. vinyl alcohol or (meth)acrylic acid] is attached at least to the interior of the pores to give the objective material. |
