Homogeneous, spheroidal granules of water-free sodium metasilicate, having smooth surface, high abrasion resistance and low dust content, are economically produced by treating sodium metasilicate granules with a solution of sodium metasilicate (40-60%) in a dense fluidised bed heated by an upward stream of hot air. |
