PURPOSE:To make possible to employ a low inductance by turning a switching element ON after the current flowing through the inductance went to zero upon turn OFF of the switching element. CONSTITUTION:Current from a power supply Vcc is fed through a current detector 14 to a comparator 16 which monitors the current with reference to a set value 18. When the current exceeds the set value 18, a switching element 12 is turned OFF through a controller 10. When the current flowing through the inductance of L1 goes zero, terminal voltage of a capacitor C1 is transferred to point B and the switching element 12 is turned ON. The operation is repeated. |
