摘要 PURPOSE:To automatically set the optimum flow rate of water by measuring the distance up to the surface of the water of a probe holding part by a flaw detector and controlling the electromotive control valve arranged to a piping system from the measured result. CONSTITUTION:When water is supplied by the rotation of a probe holding part 2, the water 21 develops a hollow state by a centrifugal force to form the surface 22. A probe 3 is used in such a state that a material 4 to be inspected is not inserted in the holding part 2 and the distance up to the surface 22 is measured by a flaw detector 15 to judge the supply amount of water and a water supply increase and decrease indication signal is outputted to a control apparatus 10. The apparatus 10 outputs a control signal 19 for an electromotive type control valve on the basis of the signal 18 and the flow rate of water is increased and decreased by the electromotive type control valve 17 to keep the surface 22 optimum. Thereafter, the material 4 to be inspected is inserted to be subjected to continuous flaw detection. By this method, the optimum flow rate can be automatically set.
