PURPOSE:To decrease the number of sensors and reduce the trouble of wiring operation and to preclude misdetection due to intrusion of noise by composing the detection device of a stopper which is formed at the slide part end part of a moving means and stops the movement of a lens at a home position and a stop detecting means which detects the lens being stopped by the stopper. CONSTITUTION:The stopper 10 is formed at the specific position of the end part of a rack 7 provided on a lens carriage 3 and the position where a lens hood 1 covering plural lenses is stopped by the stopper 10 from moving is the home position. If the output signal of an encoder is not detected although there is a driving signal, a microcomputer for control judges that a driving motor 4 is in a detuning state wherein the motor is stopped forcibly by the stopper 10 and judges that the lens hood 1 reaches the home position when the step-out state continues for a period of specific pulses of the driving signal. Consequently, the decrease in the number of components by the omission of a photosensor and the omission of wiring operation become possible. |
