PURPOSE:To make small the gap between the outer container and the inner container of a cryogenic container to the minimum and to make it possible to make small the axial length of the cryogenic container by a method wherein the inner container is constituted of a large diameter part and a small diameter part, step parts are formed on the outer peripheral surfaces of those diameter parts, the other ends of vertical direction support parts and horizontal direction support parts are coupled with the outer peripheral surfaces utilizing these step parts and the inner container is suspended and supported. CONSTITUTION:A liquid He tank 6 is constituted of a small diameter part and a large diameter part, step parts 6r are formed on the outer peripheral side surfaces of those diameter parts and a coupling fitment 4b or 5b is overhung and installed at each of these step parts 6r. Vertical distriction support parts 4 and horizontal distriction support parts 5 are installed in such a way as to pass through annular space parts 11 which are generated by these step parts. |
