PURPOSE:To obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte battery excellent in the low temperature property by using toluene sulfonic acid lithium as solute constituting a nonaqueous electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A lithium rolled plate is used as a negative pole, while manganese dioxide (an active material), carbon powder (a conductive agent) and fluororesin powder (a binder) are mixed in the weight ratio of 85:10:5 and said mixture is press-molded while being given heat treatment for being used as a positive pole. An equal volume mixture consisting of propylene carbonate and dimethoxyl ethane is used as a solvent while using toluene sulfonic acid lithium as solute. A button type nonaqueous electrolyte battery A made in said way and having the battery capacity of 120mAH shows the excellent low temperature discharge property when discharged under -20 deg.C with constant resistance of 10kOMEGA. |
