LIGHTING EQUIPMENT FOR AGED-PERSON AND PROJECTOR

PURPOSE:To obtain lighting equipment for an aged-person which has high brightness and less glare and a projector by setting the ratio of radiant flux in a wavelength area of 470-530nm to radiant flux in a visible wavelength area (380-780nm) to be 135 or more and less than 21%. CONSTITUTION:Radiant flux in a wavelength area of 470-530nm is easily dispersed in aged-person eyes. Since standard light (illumination light with spectral power distribution approximating to day light of color temperature 5350K) has the ratio of radiant flux in a wavelength area of 380-475nm to radiant flux in a visible wavelength area of 380-780nm is 21%, the ratio is set to be less than 21% to reduce dispersion and restrain glare. If the ratio of radiant flux in a wavelength area of 470-530nm to radiant flux in a visible wavelength area is set 13% or more, color rendering properties can be secured.
