PURPOSE:To realize a hybrid integrated circuit having high reliability, high integration by forming a 1-chip monolithic integrated circuit of an overvoltage detector, a protecting circuit and a driver of a switching element. CONSTITUTION:Switching elements Qa1, Qa2-Qc1, Qc2, and overvoltage detecting.protecting circuits 12a-12c, 14a-14c, etc., are mounted in a monolithic integrated circuit of the same circuit configuration on a first insulating metal board 10. A microcomputer, etc., of a controller 24 are mounted on a second insulating metal board 20. The board 10 is coupled to the board 20 via photocouplers PC1-PCn. When a controller is improved in integration as the monolithic integrated circuit, wiring lengths between the circuits are shortened to suppress noise induction. |
