<p>PURPOSE:To improve the visual recognizability by emitting light from the whole of a display face except an expressed pattern on a display device. CONSTITUTION:When a light source 7 of external incident light exists, incident light 8a is made incident on a display face 14a, and reflected light 8b is generated. The visual recognizability of an operator 6 is degraded if the reflected light 8b is stronger than radiated light 9, but the radiated light 9 is stronger than the reflected light 8b because dots 16 in a background part Q on the display face 14a emit light, and the visual recognizability for the display face 14a is improved. Even if the radiated light 9 is partially intercepted by materials such as dirt, flaws, and dust on a protective sheet surface which hinder the radiated light 9, an influence upon the visual recognizability is reduced because dots to give essential information do not emit light. The whole of dots 16 in the background part Q emit light, and the radiated light 9 from the display face 14a of the display device 14 is increased as the whole and is made stronger than the reflected light 8b, and influences of incident light and reflected light are relatively reduced. Since dots 15 to transmit information do not emit light, the visual recognizability is improved.</p> |
